According to Leica Rumors (yes it’s a rumors website) Pixii camera is in judicial liquidation. This is not a rumor there is a notice of judgement (fr) that the company is now in the phase of liquidation since August 2026.
What does that mean? It is hard to say. The simple version is that the company making the Pixii ran out of money and filed for bankruptcy and later liquidation. In this phase, the company’s assets will be tentatively sold: technology, software, inventory, etc. Basically it is the end of that entity and, unless someone buy (some of) this, likely the end of the product, the alternative M-Mount rangefinder digital camera.
DPReview somewhat confirms that Pixii, the non-Leica digital rangefinder maker, is in liquidation. They have a recap of what Pixii is, and a bit more info if you have one on order with a deposit or any other claim.
And no public statement from the company, which is kind of opaque.
